Interactive virtual tours based on spherical panoramas
A virtual tour is a modern method of presenting space, with possibility to make the viewer feel a sense of presence. Unlike photography and video, a virtual tour based on 3d panoramas allows you to independently manage the viewing process: you can not only “look around” 360 degrees, but also consider in detail any element of the scene.
The first step in the process of creating a virtual tour is shooting, processing, assembling and retouching spherical panoramas. Then, the resulting spherical panoramas are combined into a virtual tour with its own interface and navigation, which can be carried out according to the floor plan, according to the area map, via transition points or via thumbnail links.
We can complement the virtual tour with audio support, such as background music, as well as blocks of background information in the form of text and images.
Aerial photography and panoramas
One of the most attractive angles when shooting a terrain is accessible only from a bird’s-eye view, and especially spectacular panoramic images are obtained. For aerial surveys, we use a radio-controlled multicopter with a hanging camera, the maximum flight altitude of which is about 400 meters. In comparison with the shooting, carried out by the operator on a real helicopter, for small commercial projects, the use of a multicopter allows us to offer our customers a better price for the service. Moreover, the multicopter is maneuverable and allows you to take pictures in places where flying by helicopter is impossible.
Also, the use of multikopter is often more preferable than the creation of 3d-visualization. For example, when shooting residential areas, it is a real photo in a beautiful perspective that can win more trust of a potential client than a 3d image.
